Over the past 34 years, IMA has completed over 300 business consulting assignments for more than 130 clients in 38 countries.
Many assignments are for repeat clients. They include more than a dozen assignments for the World Bank, 8 assignments for Siemens and more than 20 for a Japanese client. Some are long term relationships. We had an unbroken consulting relationship for more than 20 years with MAN, a major German engineering group. Staff
J.R. McCaul, who founded the firm in 1973, has the primary role in all projects IMA undertakes. He has a PhD in economics, MS in business administration, BS in marine science. Prior to forming IMA, he had been faculty member at Webb Institute of Naval Architecture and the business administration faculty of the University of Maryland. Mr. McCaul has authored numerous technical publications and been advisor to a US Presidential Commission, the US General Accounting Office, the World Bank and a large number of foreign governments. Professional support on consulting projects is provided by highly experienced personnel with whom IMA has established a long term working relationship. They include professionals with hands on operational experience in the oil and gas sector, manufacturing, shipbuilding and repair, ship engineering and design, port operations and financial structuring. Several have worked with IMA on consulting assignments for more than 25 years. |
